TRUST

Trust.

Who?

How much?

When?

See how one suggestion can spiral into complication?

Isaiah 12:2 (AMP) – ” I will trust and not be afraid, for the Lord God
is my strength and song; yes, He has become my salvation.”

Proverbs 3:5 (AMP) – “Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord
with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or
understanding.”

It’s always more than some sort of a decision we have to conjure up in
the midst of a horrible situation.

When the trials and tragedies strike we must ALREADY be secure in our TRUST.

We need to know WHO we are trusting in NOW so that the issue is
settled ahead of time.

Your trusting in God, and forming a personal relationship with Jesus
Christ puts you ahead of the curve. Not only does it build a security
within you, but it activates the ancient truths and mysteries that are
only alleged rumors for those who don’t know God.

When I say “KNOW” God I mean it it the most intimate possible terms.
Know Him as your Father.  Jesus is our Brother.  The Holy Spirit is
our Counselor.  See? Intimately TRUST Him with your most personal
details and very lives.

He WILL take care of you. When we accept Jesus we become adopted into
the very Family of God. We become His children.

There is a famous misinterpretation in the world and popular
vernacular, that WE are ALL God’s children.

Not so. We are all God’s creation, but because of the sin issue we are
separated from God. In order to bridge the gap between God and
ourselves we must accept His plan, and that was that He would send
Jesus to die as a sacrifice for the worlds sinfulness. Once we accept
His plan as our own we are adopted into His family and achieve
salvation and eternal life.

It can’t be any simpler. Know the plan and say YES. Simple. The only
thing more simpler is to do nothing, but the toll that takes on a
human life over its existence is incalculable. Torment, destruction,
turmoil, and finally eternal death.

So…when I say TRUST, I mean with childlike quality.

Jesus says:

Matthew 18:3 (AMP) – “Truly I say to you, unless you repent (change,
turn about) and become like little children [trusting, lowly, loving,
forgiving], you can never enter the kingdom of heaven [at all].”

See the character traits of a child? Trusting, lowly, unassuming,
loving, forgiving. Jesus says unless we become like that we won’t see
the Kingdom of Heaven.  Not here or there.

Just think about that for a moment. If everyone would pay attention to
this admonition from God and just lose our “adulthood” in favor of
reverting back to the qualities we had once as children in our
innocence, before we got older and “smarter”, how much different the
world would be.

We are not so smart, and maybe that takes a major leap of faith to
arrive at that, but that’s the truth. We have smartened and
intellectualized ourselves to the wide path to hell. The world does
not only deny God but it believes they have become god.

It only takes one small moment in your lifetime to contemplate what I
am saying right now, and just CHOOSE to TRUST God with everything
about you and let Him take His rightful ownership of your life which
He purchased on the Cross.

1 Corinthians 6:20 (AMP) – “You were bought with a price [purchased
with a preciousness and paid for, made His own]. So then, honor God
and bring glory to Him in your body.”

Maybe you don’t like that. Maybe you say “Who asked Him to do that?”
Well, you didn’t ask to be born either, but here you are.

Now that you’re here (an act of God), what are you going to do with
the rest of your time?
