YOUR GREATEST SUCCESS
DOC LYNCH
Think of all the great things you have done in your life that have brought you success and pleasure.
Think of the ones you accomplished without Jesus.
Now think of the ones you have done where you have included Jesus in the plan.
Your "Pre-Jesus" era should pale considerably to your "Present-Jesus" era.
In fact…your greatest success ever, of which no price tag or earthly value could be attached, is when you asked Jesus into your life.
All of life's plans, while perhaps beneficial, are always less than what they could be with Jesus.
Proverbs 16:3 (AMP) – "Roll your works upon the Lord [commit and trust them wholly to Him; He will cause your thoughts to become agreeable to His will, and] so shall your plans be established and succeed."
This is an amazing passage.
It indicates that God will actually enter into our thinking processes and planning stages and "cause" our ways of making our plans amenable to His. In essence, the Master Planner of the Universe is permeating our minds with His ways and abilities. It practically guarantees success.
Could this be what Paul meant?
1 Corinthians 2:16 (AMP) – "…But we have the mind of Christ (the Messiah) and do hold the thoughts (feelings and purposes) of His heart."
The only thing that could possibly screw this up is if we do not fully incorporate this amazing truth into our life.
Sprinkling a little Jesus into your life in some sort of shallow and religious way will never suffice. It's actually an insult to Him and will work against you.
PARTNERING with Jesus with full integration between you and Him will guarantee success in whatever you do.
If you are looking for a "Sugar Daddy Jesus", and you "roll up on Him" only when you are in desperate need, that also will not work.
Jesus is a ground floor participant in our life or not at all.
