SPIRITUAL RECOVERY

SPIRITUAL RECOVERY

DOC

Be careful of the Voices.

They may sometimes appear to be liberating and in your best interest.

They are not always so. Even if they seem to be quieting and comforting and empowering. They are not always.

You can be quietly led to the worst experiences and mistakes in your life.

You can think that you have discovered the most liberating ideal in the world. It can masquerade before you and perhaps even in you, as an appearance of the freedom you have been seeking your entire life.

I indeed found that once. It was over 30 years ago. It was Jesus coming to me and freeing me from great bondage and horror. It was the True Voice. It was the Person of Truth. He freed me from the Power of Death and Destruction.

What have you been freed and liberated from?

That is the question.

Assess what it is you feel you have been freed and liberated from and then decide if it has truly been a good thing.

Or have you been DECEIVED and led ASTRAY?

When the proper VOICES speak to you and encourage you to leave a life of sinful degradation you can rest assure that it is the VOICE OF THE HOLY SPIRIT. The VOICE that comes from the NETHER REGIONS and the places where deception and destruction rule, you need to take heed, because those VOICES are usually trying to throw a monkey wrench into your life by causing great confusion. They will convince you that no matter what you are doing, your life is terrible and needs to change.

Again, it is one thing to be in a terrible down cycle, perhaps involved with drugs and drunkenness, physical abuse, sexual immorality, etc.

It is completely another thing if you are just experiencing life’s growing pains and feel you’re “in a rut” or perhaps just unsure about a relationship, or suffering from a streak of when nothing seems to be working out the way YOU would like it.

One may be something you NEED to be rescued out of, the other might just be that you need to be encouraged by Jesus Christ right where you are.

Look at what Jesus says in quoting an Old testament passage from Isaiah:
Luke 4:18 – “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me,
because He has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor.
He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives
and recovering of sight to the blind,
to set at liberty those who are oppressed.”

The Holy Spirit woke me up with that today and has reminded me that first this applied to Jesus, and now it also applies to me and every believer who has been chosen by Him to perform His will in this.

I am that voice to you today. I am saying that there is Good News of the Gospel of Jesus Christ that applies to the downtrodden poor in spirit today. Those who are held captive by demonic powers and spirits. Those who are BLIND to goodness and are being deceived. Those who are OPPRESSED by various ways and means.

Your answer today may not be an escape but a spiritual change within you that lifts you above your circumstances and allows you to conquer them.

CONQUER THEM.

Conquer them because no matter how far you run and from whom you run from, there is always going to be circumstances and deception. You may run far away to a new location. You may leave a relationship. However, unless you deal squarely with what is the REAL problem, those exact same bad circumstances will continue to crop up all through your life. They will most certainly become increasingly worse.

Romans 8:37 – “No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.”

Somebody needs to hear this today before they make a tragic mistake.

Always heed the LOVE. Love does not always manifest as perfection. It may even lead us down the path of great trials and difficulties, but such is Love. Where there is great and true love there is something worth saving. Jesus works within the confines and great expanse of True Love. Make sure the Voices are not leading you to run from that.

Satan and the demonic forces unleashed into this world hate Love and will plant seeds of discord in your mind that will cause you to make very bad decisions.
Love binds us together. Love conquers the worst of circumstances. Love weathers every storm together.

Keepin’ it Real,
~Doc~
