JESUS IS A CUSTOM FIT

Jesus isn’t an “off the rack” god. Jesus is a Custom Fit God, because He is first and foremost the only TRUE GOD. Some may think, “Well, doesn’t that make Him a “One size fits all god”.  No.  It doesn’t. It doesn’t because your troubles and difficulties are different from another’s. Also, Jesus is our PERSONAL Lord and Savior. While He is Savior of the world, it is accomplished one person at a time. Jesus is NOT a GENERIC god. He is the One and Only, and He ministers to you in a One and Only Way. He also only becomes active in a persons life when invited and received. 

Luke 4:18-19 (AMP) – “The Spirit of the Lord [is] upon Me, because He has anointed Me [the Anointed One, the Messiah] to preach the good news (the Gospel) to the poor; He has sent Me to announce release to the captives and recovery of sight to the blind, to send forth as delivered those who are oppressed [who are downtrodden, bruised, crushed, and broken down by calamity], 19 To proclaim the accepted and acceptable year of the Lord [the day when salvation and the free favors of God profusely abound].”

Let’s break that down this morning. Let’s see if you “Qualify”.

First of all, these are the Words of Jesus repeating prophecy that was said about Him by Isaiah about 700 years earlier. So right away we have multiple supernatural elements involved.

Next we understand that God the Father has sent Jesus to perform and accomplish these activities toward the human race.

Jesus defines what He is sent to do as a “proclamation of the GOOD NEWS”!

Good News! That’s what the word “Gospel” literally means. Ask yourself today, before we continue, AND without trying to add definitions or explanations to it, “Do You Need To Hear Some Good News Today?”

I believe YOU do.

So…who are the intended audience and recipients of this gracious act of God?

The audience is the “poor” (the physically, spiritually, and morally destitute). You could be rich by world standards, but be destitute in God’s eyes. 

The “Captives”. Captives of sin, sickness, demonic influence. There are people on my mind right now who I KNOW are being held captive by demonic forces. Most of them don’t even realize it, but they are inadvertently advertising it publicly, and people like me and others who are gifted in this area, can see it clear as day. Yes, I can see demons in people. Even from photos. Part of the GOOD NEWS  today is Jesus has come specifically to RESCUE you today!  Understand that I am meaning TODAY.

Let’s expand “captive”. Jesus says that if we are not following Him, we are following Satan by default. This leaves you ripe for the picking on the open spiritual market. You don’t have to be a hooded devil worshiper to be literally bound, chained, and owned by demonic forces. Most folks never realize it even when in full manifestation. They just think they are being themselves. Hard to believe, but look around you. Foul, perverted, crude, disgusting individuals think it’s perfectly normal to be that way. They don’t even realize they are under a deceptive and evil captivation. It’s why so many hate Jesus and even people like myself that try to bring Light to their darkness. See how it works? 

Jesus associates “sight to the blind” with Captives. Spiritually blind. 

Look at this revealing verse. It changed my spiritual “field of vision” many years ago. Here is why your loved ones and friends who don’t know Jesus are seemingly unable to break free from their unbelief, and even at times appear to spiral down further into darkness.

2 Corinthians 4:4 (AMP) – “For the god of this world has blinded the unbelievers’ minds [that they should not discern the truth], preventing them from seeing the illuminating light of the Gospel of the glory of Christ (the Messiah), Who is the Image and Likeness of God.”

The “god of this world” is a reference to Satan. He has people blinded to the Light, not BY THE LIGHT, but TO THE LIGHT. They cannot hear, see or experience the Good News of Jesus Christ. This needs to be PRAYED off them by a purposeful deliverance. Stop wasting your prayers praying to God to save your loved ones. He has already done everything in Jesus. Start using the authority you have (IF you are a believer) in Christ to command and demand the dark forces to release your loved ones. 

Are you downtrodden? Bruised? Crushed? Broken down,Today? Jesus was sent to send you forth as DELIVERED from it! More good news!

I am sent to pass on His proclamation. To YOU.

I know exactly who my “audience” is. It’s not the “CHOIR” today. It’s those afflicted with foul spirits. We call them “familiar spirits”. We call them that because some have made friends with them and have incorporated them into their everyday lifestyle. Sometime when you’re sober of mind, take a prance through your photo album. Find the ones before it all got weird. Then look at you now. Pay attention to the mouth and the eyes. Ask God to reveal to you what I might see if I looked at them (some I have). You may have a momentary glimpse of your own captivity and hopefully you will have the moment of horror and realization that you do not like what is staring back at you. AT THAT PRECISE MOMENT of the SHOCK AND AWE of seeing how THAT thing staring back at you is what you have BECOME, I PRAY that you make the decision to RUN to JESUS.

Look, He’s the One. He’s the ONLY WAY. At the moment of the brief but stark realization that you are NOT the person you ever intended to become, and how in the heck you got to here, it’s right there that you need to make your break. Jesus is on the other side waiting for you. Get to Him. Do it now.
