No one ever enjoyed setting a flash off in their own face.

No "normal" person likes to face the "music" that they have written for the score of the musical of their own life.

That would leave no one to blame.

Can't blame the ex for being the louse he or she was.

Can't blame the kids for growing up crooked.

Can't blame the boss for making life miserable in the workplace.

Can't even blame the Prez for anything from the border to healthcare.

Why…we can't even blame the dog for just doing what dogs do even in the house sometimes.

James knew.

James 1:14 (AMP) – "But every person is tempted when he is drawn away, enticed and baited by his own evil desire (lust, passions)."

Yup. There it is.

James even took away the last Fall Guy left we could blame. God.

Now what?

Well, we could face the Truth.

WE have always been the problem with US.

YOU, in your unregenerate self, has always, and will continue to be, YOUR biggest problem, threat, and stumbling block to even enjoying the simple pleasures of life.

What are those "simple pleasures", YOU may ask?

I always thought the Declaration of Independence came close.

"Life, Liberty, and the Pursuit of Happiness".

Sounds simple enough.

Than how come it seems so elusive?

Again…YOU got in YOUR own way.

Life got in the way of living.

Many people, perhaps most, have just not figured OUT how to navigate it successfully.

That's because WE (humanity) have rejected the Navigator.

Going back to James we find that it is us (the Word says EVERY), who has activated our own evil desires to get what WE want.

We never contemplate what God wants.

That's ALWAYS going to end up as a train wreck.

Silly rabbit. Silly stubborn rabbit.

We won't solve all the issues of mankind today, but there is wisdom in the scriptures presented here today including this one:

Philippians 2:10-11 (AMP) – "That in (at) the name of Jesus every knee should (must) bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, 11 And every tongue [ frankly and openly] confess and acknowledge that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."

Yeah, that's going to happen. Better sooner than later. Today it will matter, tomorrow maybe not so much. Today it will be your own will that acknowledges Jesus willingly and results in benefits of joy and peace. Tomorrow (future time after death) you will be forced to your knees when it is too late.

Any forthcoming decisions for Jesus are best made toots sweet. Just sayin'. Someday will actually be the "one day too late".

Any person in history who has accepted Jesus Christ into their life as their Lord and Savior had to first step out of themselves and get out of their own way. By doing so it has allowed Jesus full unfettered access into what is rightfully His anyway. When we realize that we have been purchased by the blood of Jesus and do not really have rights to do with ourselves what we want, then moving aside and letting Jesus take full residency becomes easier. Stubborn pride has gotten in the way of untold millions.

Let's get this all out into the open so that YOU can begin YOUR new life of peace, joy, and happiness.
