THE STRANGE VOICES

John 10:5 (AMP) – "They will never [on any account] follow a stranger, but will run away from him because they do not know the voice of strangers or recognize their call."

Seems like more shooters everyday somewhere. Many say voices told them to shoot and kill.

How may times have we witnessed that scenario.

Chalk it up to another schizophrenic episode and call in another army of headshrinkers and their prescription pads to provide zero answers once again.

Zombie nation. Powers, principalities, evil voices. Along with Big Pharma.

There are two voices you can listen to. The voice of Jesus Christ or the voice of the Enemy.

It stands to reason that the Enemy will ALWAYS try to get you to harm yourself or others. Anti-anxiety meds such as the plethora of SSRI's (Selective Serotonin Uptake Inhibitor), are becoming a method of opening a gateway to listening to those voices.

"May cause thoughts of suicide." Yeah, and thoughts of mass murder. Oh yeah, research it out. Virtually EVERY mass murderer in the past 20 years have been on SSRI type meds. Lord Jesus, come quickly.

It's not ALL on the meds. Some folks have no problem hearing the voices on their own. Meds are just a method of the Enemy's trolling for souls to steal. If you are not a disciple of Jesus you already have your feet planted in the wrong kingdom.

Jesus and the Holy Spirit are NEVER going to call you to evil actions. NEVER.

"How can I know I am hearing from God?"

He will never call you into harm or harming, or anything foul and evil. He will always point you toward goodness and doing good for mankind and the Gospel.

Even Jesus was victimized and dealt with it.

Luke 4:9 (AMP) – "Then he took Him to Jerusalem and set Him on a gable of the temple, and said to Him, If You are the Son of God, cast Yourself down from here."

Satan even used scripture to try to convince Him.

Jesus rejected the suggestion and answered Satan with Truth of scripture.

Just like we can and should.

I am concerned with the level of albeit, marginal (and yes, even some seasoned veteran) believers, who still struggle with the voice of Evil even after making commitments to follow Jesus. It shows me that Satan NEVER gives up, and that we must always be building ourselves up in following Jesus every day with great purpose.

Satan never gives up but…

"…He Who lives in you is greater (mightier) than he who is in the world" (1 John 4:4).

Jesus is GREATER, STRONGER, and MIGHTIER than the devil, Satan himself, and ALL the powers and principalities and kingdoms of his evil realm.

Make up your mind to listen to His Voice and His ONLY!

This happens by a purposeful decision on your part to follow Him every day.

Matthew 16:24 (AMP) – "Then Jesus said to His disciples, If anyone desires to be My disciple, let him deny himself [disregard, lose sight of, and forget himself and his own interests] and take up his cross and follow Me [ cleave steadfastly to Me, conform wholly to My example in living and, if need be, in dying, also]."

The first person we need to understand not to listen to is ourselves. Our desire must be Jesus. He is First. It's a tough nut to crack, this inherent carnal need to be first and best, but the devil loves to encourage self greatness if it helps in keeping us away from Jesus. He will raise up Kings and Queens, Presidents and world leaders of great power and influence, just to win these small battles against the Church of Jesus Christ.

Know the whisperers in your ear and head today.

Listen ONLY to Jesus.
