VALUABILITY

VALUABILITY

Valuability.

I’m not even sure if “valuability” is a real word. It should be if it’s not.

“Valuability” – The ability to see ourselves as valuable. There. It is now.

One of the great things Jesus Christ did for me as one of His disciples is He gave me the ability to see value in people as He does.

First I had to learn to value myself. Hard to do after a hard life of addiction and heartache.

There is a lot of devaluing in the human condition today. Jesus strips that down. He prioritizes it.

1 John 4:19 (AMP) – “We love Him, because He first loved us.”

John 3:16 (AMP) – “For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.”

Luke 10:27 (AMP) – “And he replied, You must love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind; and your neighbor as yourself.”

God first loved us. He loved the world and gave us Jesus. We love Jesus, our self, our neighbor.

God is the Prime Mover on this.

So many abuses. So much devaluing of people. So many crimes, domestic and otherwise against women and children.

This stuff is hard to crawl back from. It’s hard to form a positive image of oneself after being dehumanized.

Don’t get me wrong. I’m not a fan of the pop psychology club which has sidetracked us off into “self-esteem” issues.

The human race already esteems itself too highly to the point of rampant narcissistic behavior.

Even those on the low esteem end are too selfish for their own good.

I prefer “Christ esteem”. Feel good about yourself because Jesus loves you and has taught you to love others like He does, without conditions.

Your self worth skyrockets when you realize that the Master Architect of the Universe is madly in love with you to the point that He is not only willing to die for you, but actually did!

You as a believer have to become cognitive of your value. Not as the narcissist does, but in conjunction with the value Jesus places upon you.

He has thought you worthy to die for and receive salvation. We need to recognize our valuability.

Seeing yourself as less than how Jesus sees you is lying to yourself and others. You tell yourself and the world that you are worthless and useless when nothing is further from the truth.

You are more than a somebody. If you allow Jesus in, spiritually you are royalty with a great inheritance. You matter to Whom it is most important to matter.

When you recognize your valuability, you in turn will reach back and bring someone else to where you are.

This is love. God’s kind of love. Not fleeting, carnal, superficial, worldly kind of love, but real love that values the soul and spirit of a person, not for their attributes and finances and dollar and cents value, but the value that Jesus died for.

It’s the kind of love that will make you ignore anything the world deems unclean and warns you against, and allows you to focus on what Jesus sees as worthy.

You are worthy even if the world sees you as expendable. Jesus can’t do without you. You need to find a church that believes that if you haven’t been fortunate to find one yet.

A Kingdom built upon loving one another is a God Kingdom.

I have so much love in my heart today for the brokenhearted who are acting out their loneliness through self destructive actions and habits. Literally “looking for love in all the wrong places”.

I just want to say that it is found first in Jesus Christ. The rest of your story will fill in from there. We need a massive rescue effort. Some people in the Church call it a need for “revival”. Yes, it is that. I believe in revival. My personal ministry is Revival Life Church, but I see it more as a massive rescue effort, than a 3 day evangelism crusade. Revival is a rescue. Dying, lonely, addicted, broken people need a rescue. Love in Christ is that rescue. You can’t fake this. It has got to be instilled as an attribute of Jesus Christ into us. We have to feel as Jesus feels. Cry as Jesus cries. Act as Jesus acts. You can’t call yourself a church if you don’t.

Accept. Pass it on. I said ACCEPT, and then pass it on! If you don’t believe who you have become in Christ, who you now REALLY are in Him, then how in the world will you get others to believe you?

You see, religion acts without feeling. They act upon legalistic decrees and by-laws. They do because it’s just tradition. We do because we can’t not do. We do because we are driven by Christ and the Holy Spirit! We act because we have BECOME that! It is the polar opposite of what the world has come to believe what Christianity is. How pathetic is that? We now have to explain away the weakness of the fake church and retool to operate as the One True Church.

Look at someone today who you KNOW needs Jesus desperately. Love them so much that you TARGET them. Yes, TARGET them. Mark them. Track them. Follow them. I mean this prayerfully. I mean this supernaturally.

Don’t get arrested for goodness sake.

Love them into the Kingdom. Bring them before the Throne of God every day. Tell Jesus every day how you are relentlessly pursuing “so-and-so”. Don’t ask Him to do it. He already has given you charge over it. Act upon the authority you ALREADY have in Christ and wrestle them away from demonic control. FIGHT! FIGHT! FIGHT for them!

Sounds dramatic doesn’t it? It is. It’s a script unfolding and it ends in victory if you do what someone did for you.

We are in this together. Increase the perimeter. Expand the kill zone. Snuff the enemy.

Rescue the victims.

Peace, Love, Joy, Prosperity, Health, Goodness, Happiness in the Holy Ghost today!

Take it, it’s your heritage as a Child of God!

Be blessed most of all in Him!
