For every believer in Jesus Christ who is reading this, the answer is no. God is in close fellowship with His children, so He listens to and hears their prayers.

As for the faithless? The unbeliever?

Sorry.  No. There is just too much scripture to indicate otherwise.

In fact, when I consider how many unbelievers there are in the world, even up to and including those who have mistakenly considered themselves believers, but are actually being duped by apostate religious organizations, it is staggering just how much deception there is in the world.

I just read an article today that says four so called “Christian” denominations in the last week alone have taken a step into apostasy for various denials of the Word of God.

God answers the prayers of those who are in His House.

Heed the instruction of Jesus:

Do you pray religiously? Do you pray loudly in public so others can hear you rather than God hearing you?

Matthew 6:5 (AMP)  – “Also when you pray, you must not be like the hypocrites, for they love to pray standing in the synagogues (or churches and other para-church and TV venues) and on the corners of the streets, that they may be seen by people. Truly I tell you, they have their reward in full already.”

How about your mindless mantra like praying? Rattling off ridiculous repetitive and redundant prayers to anybody but Jesus and God?

Matthew 6:7 (AMP)  – “And when you pray, do not heap up phrases (multiply words, repeating the same ones over and over) as the Gentiles do, for they think they will be heard for their much speaking.”

Did you know that any prayer to God, must be prayed in the Name of Jesus Christ?  Not doing this is very well the reason why your prayers might not be heard and answered.  I know for a fact that my life before Jesus was miserable.  Thirty-three years years of various constant sicknesses, a failed marriage, and a 20 years long drug addiction. Know what? I prayed thousands of prayers in that time. NONE worked. I didn’t realize the prayers were never getting past the ceiling.

Listen to this:

John 14:13-14 (AMP)  – “And I will do [I Myself will grant] whatever you ask in My Name [as presenting all that I AM], so that the Father may be glorified and extolled in (through) the Son. 14 [Yes] I will grant [I Myself will do for you] whatever you shall ask in My Name [as presenting all that I AM].”

Did you get that? Whatever we ask in Jesus’ name we will receive. Of course one has to actually know Jesus in the born-again experience for this to work.

There was the answer for me. I had spent 33 years praying to various “Christian entities”. All for naught. Zip. Nil. Nada. Zero.

It’s no coincidence that the very first time I prayed in Jesus’ name I was instantaneously delivered from my 20 year addiction, and since then essentially every need I have ever had has been provided for.

It is the will of God that we pray in the authority of Jesus’ name. When we are in God’s will our prayers are answered.
1 John 5:14 (AMP)  – “And this is the confidence (the assurance, the privilege of boldness) which we have in Him: [we are sure] that if we ask anything (make any request) according to His will (in agreement with His own plan), He listens to and hears us.”
We should always pray with confidence and boldness which comes from KNOWING we are in God’s will. We are SURE we will receive what we are in prayer over.
There should be no anxiety over praying. No worry. No wondering.
We must also tailor our prayers to be in accordance to God’s will. This is another reason why many do not have their prayers heard and answered. They do not know what is God’s will because knowing comes from being in accordance to His Word, the Bible, and that comes from being a good student of the Word. One will soon realize that Jesus is not a magic genie or a buddah statue who’s belly gets rubbed. We have guarantees of our receiving without any formal religious prayers because Jesus said the Father already knows what we need.

We sometimes have to seriously rethink what we have been taught sometimes and reconcile it with the Word of God. I was taught to recite prayers while counting off beads, and the prayers were not to God. Jesus clearly instructs us NOT to do that:
Matthew 6:8 (AMP)  – “Do not be like them, for your Father knows what you need before you ask Him.”

He knows what I need. Why? Because I am His child. Not every person who professes to follow God, or even believes they are a Christian, are His children. We have heard the saying, “We are all God’s children”, and even “There are many ways to God”. Not true.
There is only one Way to God:
John 14:6 (AMP)  – “Jesus said to him, I am the Way and the Truth and the Life; no one comes to the Father except by (through) Me.”

Not through Buddah, not through Mohammed, not through Mary, “St.” Christopher, or “St.” Anthony.
It’s Jesus. There is NO OTHER WAY. Think maybe you’ve kind of blown it on that part? Wondering why nothing really ever changes for you? Maybe, just maybe, it’s your cultic and unswerving stubborness to accept that fact. Maybe you have too many layers between you and God. There should only be ONE: Jesus!

We are also not all His children. We become His children when we accept Jesus as Lord and Savior.
John 1:12 (AMP)  – “But to as many as did receive and welcome Him, He gave the authority (power, privilege, right) to become the children of God, that is, to those who believe in (adhere to, trust in, and rely on) His name.”

Many may acknowledge Jesus, or be somewhat accommodating to Him, and believe that He existed, but the title of God’s Child belongs to those who WELCOME and RECEIVE HIM and BELIEVE in HIS NAME!
It’s so simple yet it has been complicated by religion. Run from religion. Flee from it. If your church or denomination puts ANYTHING at all before the Name of Jesus, than you are in an apostate church! Run!
Peace today! Love! Joy! Happiness in the Holy Spirit!

TODAY is your day IF you put Jesus first!

Keepin’ it Real,
